Cloud Data Subscription Order Conditions
After purchasing a subscription, your personal authorization details for for the cloud data download will be sent to you per email.
The subscription will automatically renew itself after the selected period (monthly, half-yearly or yearly) and it will be valid
until you cancel your subscription (see the remarks about cancellations below).
Please make sure to enter a valid email address on the order form, or we will not be able to send you your authorization details!
If you don't get an email from us within three business days after ordering, please contact us to check if there was a
problem with your order or email address. If possible, use a different email address in case we were not able to contact you
using the original email address you provided.
The subscription is valid for a single person who downloads the clouds with one licensed installation of EarthView. At the minimum
download interval selectable in the options of EarthView, which is 3 hours, this equals 8 downloads per day.
If you want to download the clouds to multiple computers or if multiple people download the clouds to one computer, you must
purchase a number of subscriptions equal to the number of installations or each user must purchase his own subscription.
The download volume of each subscriber will be monitored. If we find out that you averagely download more often than 8 times a day
(e.g. because you install EarthView on more than one computers or if you share your access code with others), your subscription
will be terminated.
IMPORTANT: You need a licensed version of EarthView for the cloud downloads - it will not work if you are using EarthView
in demo mode! Please keep your authorization details at a safe place, because you will need it if you reinstall the product.
LIMITATIONS: We can not guarantee that the online data for the clouds will always be available and current! The cloud data is
provided by third party institutions and we have no influence on their course of action. We will do everything possible to
insure up-to-date cloud data, but there can be delays or server downtimes that can cause the cloud data not to be current or
incorrect for some time. Such problems are usually fixed within a few hours.
MAINTENANCE: When purchasing the subscription, you can create a user account
with Plimus. With this account, you can keep your email address and payment
details up-to-date. Please make sure to keep this information correct, so that
you can receive our emails and that the recurring payments can be processed. You
can also use your account to change the payment frequency (e.g. from monthly to
yearly payment) or to cancel the subscription.
CANCELLATIONS: To cancel your subscription, please use your Plimus account or send a cancellation request to "orders@plimus.com".
Please include the information about your subscription (your name, order reference number, etc.) for faster processing.
Cancellations are taking effect immediately, not at the end of the current
period, so please cancel your subscription only at the end of the paid period
(one or two business days before the renewal day, so that there's enough time to process
your cancellation before the subscription will be automatically renewed).
REFUNDS: Subscriptions are nonrefundable. If you cancel your subscription before the end of the paid period or if your subscription
has to be terminated due to a violation of this agreement, the prepaid amount for the rest of the period can not be refunded.
